Campus Shuttles & Parking

If you pre-purchased your parking pass, you will receive your parking permit at registration. 

You can also purchase your permit on-site when you arrive at UNM in the Parking & Transportation Business Office (PATS), 2401 Redondo Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106

Parking passes need to be purchased via credit card online and at registration. If you prefer to use cash you’ll need to visit the Parking & Transportation Business Office in person, during their business hours.

There are no free parking areas on UNM campus. UNM PATS will ticket cars that do not properly display a valid parking permit. You do not need to purchase a parking permit or pay at pay station parking areas and parking structures, if you properly display your valid state-issued ADA placard. UNM also has a shuttle system that can take you around campus. To learn more about shuttle routes and times, visit the Parking & Transportation Shuttle web page. For those staying on campus, the Redondo shuttle route (pictured below) is closest to on campus housing and goes in a loop around the whole campus.
